Responsibilities
Identify and prospect potential military shipping opportunities and government programs
Develop and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders
Present to government stakeholders in order to secure new shipping opportunities and contracts
Drive revenue growth through strategy development and execution of sales activities
Provide guidance to field services and customers during deployment of new shipping missions
Stays informed on the latest news and destinations that may be of importance in the future
Communicates regularly with internal operations department
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in relevant course of study
5+ years sales experience in the Government logistics vertical
Knowledge of government procurement processes and procedures
Strategically placed contacts within federal government or US military
Preferred
Military service a plus
