Investment Banking Analyst/Associate, Consumer & Retail (Multi-Unit Franchise)
Citizens is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst/Associate for their Consumer & Retail Advisory team in Charlotte. The role involves preparing and analyzing banking transactions, managing deal flow, and serving as a key point of contact for clients, with significant exposure to senior bankers.

Responsibilities
Managing and assisting with the preparation of financial models and business valuations
Supporting junior and senior team members in developing new business ideas, pitch strategies, or transaction structuring scenarios (inclusive of equity, debt and/or M&A) to help the firm’s corporate and sponsor clients achieve their financial and strategic objectives
Leading / participating in meetings with current and prospective clients
Conducting industry and company due diligence
Preparing and reviewing information memoranda and other transaction documents: draft key marketing and key transaction related documents
Preparing and reviewing pitch/business origination materials and other presentations: develop and review pitches and other presentations and be an integral part of the team in delivering these presentations
Assisting business development efforts
Qualification
Required
2+ years of work experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, or similar role
Intelligent and resourceful
Professional / concise oral and written communication
Strong technical skills (knowledge of accounting, modeling, Excel, etc.)
Excellent attention to detail
Self-starter / intellectual curiosity
Strong work ethic / team player / high degree of humility, maturity, and integrity
Ability to work efficiently and to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S
Preferred
Experience in Consumer & Retail sector is preferred
