Software Asset Management (SAM) Senior Analyst

Responsibilities
Lead team of resources to load and manage Flexera entitlements, create Effective License Position and remediation activities
ServiceNow Model Table Management and Software Catalog Management
Software Usage & Optimization, analyze software usage reports to identify underutilized applications and establish removal rules for infrequently used software to optimize license usage and reduce costs
Process Improvement, identify and document requirements to enhance SAM processes and workflows and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across software asset management practices
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in Software Asset Management or IT Asset Management
Strong understanding of the software lifecycle from licensing and procurement to deployment and decommissioning
In-depth knowledge of software license entitlements, EULAs, and use rights for complex agreements
Demonstrated ability to develop strategies for rationalizing and optimizing license entitlements across the enterprise
Deep understanding of Flexera ITAM, including configuration and reporting
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow in a structured environment
Preferred
Professional certifications such as CSAM, CITAM, CHAMP, or CAMSE are a plus
Hands-on experience applying automation and AI in SAM processes for efficient compliance monitoring is a plus
