Responsibilities
Support the research and development of air purification, catalysis, thermal management, and fuel cell technologies that provide competitive advantages at the component and system levels
Work with cross-functional R&D, engineering, manufacturing teams to drive the development of key technologies from early design to commercialization
Design, build, and test chemicals, materials, subsystem prototypes as well as gas and liquid test stands
Analyze data to find critical factors and gain a fundamental understanding of science behind key technologies
Communicate results to project leads, leadership, and customers
Complete tasks within planned schedule and budget
Support customer relationships & external funding opportunities on new technologies
Contribute to our world-class safety and environmental stewardship program by always operating in a safety-conscious manner
Apply learning and knowledge to multiple product lines
Qualification
Required
BS or Masters in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry or related field

Team oriented; enthusiastic about working on interdisciplinary and multi-site teams
Good written and oral communication skills, ability to create presentations and reports
Strong knowledge of gas, liquid, and process technology and associated safety
Knowledge of chemical analysis and material characterization techniques
Ability to analyze and solve challenging problems across multiple technologies
Ability to collaborate virtually in global teams across time zones
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
