Responsibilities

Supporting our clients in a wide range of interim and project-based accounting needs

Monthly closing procedures, monthly and quarterly financial reporting

Preparing and/or reviewing monthly account reconciliations

Demonstrating a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, experience researching technical GAAP issues

Ability to adapt to various client environments, and communicate effectively at all levels within the organization

Required

5–8 years of hands-on full-cycle accounting experience

Recent hands-on experience with routine accounting processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and cash management

Monthly closing procedures, monthly and quarterly financial reporting

Small to mid-sized company environment with the ability to multi-task and wear several hats

Preparing and/or reviewing monthly account reconciliations

Demonstrating a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, experience researching technical GAAP issues

Ability to adapt to various client environments, and communicate effectively at all levels within the organization

Bachelor's Degree - Accounting or Finance degrees are a plus

Strong desire for consulting style work and delivering excellent client service

Hungry, Humble, Smart Attitude

Preferred

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or MBA

Prior employment by a Big 4 or other nationally recognized accounting firms

Revenue Recognition

Work experience with both public and private companies

Industry experience in start-ups, technology, software, SaaS & Big Four/public accounting

Hands-on experience with accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks, NetSuite, Great Plains or Intacct), along with moderate – advanced experience with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel
