Director of Supply Chain
ION Solar is a rapidly expanding, full-service residential solar company with a strong nationwide presence. We are currently seeking a Director of Supply Chain who will be accountable for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate order specifications, and overseeing the warehouse operations.

Responsibilities
Required out-of-state travel to all active operating markets nationwide, 50-80% travel
Conducts and participates in physical inventories to verify stock and identify losses
Evaluates warehouse materials (e.g., qualified product list, warehouse supplies, office supplies, etc.) to maintain quality. Loads and unloads delivery trucks to receive stock and/or fill orders for transport
Maintains physical and electronic documents, and files records (e.g. receipts, delivery logs, inventory, warehouse reports, material evaluation, etc.)
Warehouse Forklift Training Certification done for Warehouse Staff
Operates warehouse equipment (e.g., company vehicles, pallet jacks, trailers, etc.)
Prepares reports to maintain accurate records for business service
Provides quality customer service to maintain an effective and efficient work environment
Receives stock and non-stock items to ensure specifications, quantity, and quality of orders are correct. Analyze discrepancies on orders and/or invoices (e.g., overages, shortages, duplicate deliveries, etc.) to correct errors and/or return damaged/incorrect items to vendors
Responds to inquiries of staff and vendors to provide information and/or direction regarding the invoices, billing, status of deliveries, etc
Responsible for following and actively enforcing all OSHA and ION safety guidelines at their location, including conducting weekly safety meetings and safety inspections per ION policy
Responsible for all Hiring, managing the staffing of the warehouses
Works in coordination with Regional Operations Managers and Directors, Corp Operations Leadership, Procurement, Design, Engineering, Compliance, and other departments around the company
Qualification

Previous experience operating a forklift
Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems
Previous experience working with Inventory Controls and Analysis, and warehouse is required
Must possess a valid Driver's License and be willing to submit to a Motorized Vehicle Report
Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders
Ability to move around the warehouse
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
Preferred
A degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred, or an equivalent
Solar, Electrical, or relevant experience is preferred
