Payer Contract Coordinator

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for LOA (Letter of Agreement) and payor contract inquiries and updates
Own the LOA process, including document preparation, routing for signatures, and tracking through execution
Partner with the Contracting Department to track new payor contract requests, contract renewals, rate changes, and amendments, ensuring timely execution and communication to internal stakeholders
Generate and maintain reports summarizing contract and LOA status, renewal dates, and pending items for leadership review
Maintain and update the Contract Matrix, ensuring all payor contract details are accurately recorded
Maintain organized records of LOAs, contracts, amendments, and related documentation
Support revenue cycle team on underpayment and overpayment issues, resolving with the payor in accordance with contract terms
Live and exemplify TOI core values, providing outstanding customer service and promoting a positive experience for patients and staff members

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required
At least 1 year of experience in healthcare contracting

Preferred

Associate degree preferred
