Responsibilities
Supports both the PSM and Refrigeration team to maintain all PSM, Refrigeration and Safety documentation retention. (SOP’s, LOTO’s, and P&ID’s)
Maintains PMs of refrigeration system
Confer with operators and observes, tests, and evaluates operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose root cause of malfunction
Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs
Perform daily chemical testing and logging all test results, making adjustments required to maintain refrigeration & utility system within established limits
Periodic use and maintenance of fitted full face respirator
Assists with inventory control
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Must have at least 7 years + experience
Must have Technician II and PSM/RMP certification
Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and Process Safety Management (PSM) is required
Required to be able to pass and maintain annual medical and pulmonary fit tests for respirator use
Preferred
Technical degree in preferred
Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience helpful
Use of technology such as computers, mobile devices, etc. preferred
English/Spanish bilingual is a plus
