Responsibilities

Oversee and execute design engineering tasks

Manage plan production

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative engineering solutions

Develop and review municipal design projects

Utilize CAD tools and Civil 3D for design work

Ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes

Mentor junior engineers

Support the overall execution of project deliverables

Required

10-20 years of progressive municipal design experience. At least 10 years as a lead civil designer

Proficiency in Design Engineering including experience with municipal or infrastructure projects, with an extreme emphasis in grading and pipeline work

Strong communications skills and the ability to work independently

Strong knowledge of Civil Engineering principles

Advanced skills in Civil 3D for developing technical drawings and project specifications

Strong communications, problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams and to collaborate with colleagues effectively

Professional Engineer (PE) license is required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required
