Responsibilities

Lead and resolve complex technical, business, and people challenges, driving positive and timely outcomes
Make sound decisions for lab-level and operational issues with appropriate guidance and judgment
Communicate and influence effectively across all levels, conveying technical, regulatory, and business concepts to internal and external stakeholders
Promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and belonging through hiring, development, and day-to-day leadership
Lead NPD Operations projects and initiatives, owning planning, budgeting, staffing, and delivery against goals
Mentor and collaborate across cross-functional teams, leveraging technical expertise and strong relationships to drive innovation and business success
Ensure compliance excellence and financial accountability, including oversight of direct reports, cost center budgeting, forecasting, and talent pipeline development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or other technical field
6+ years of experience
Preferred
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop technical professionals while setting clear performance expectations in direct or indirect leadership positions
Strong knowledge of medical device (or other regulated industries) regulations and standards related to product safety, including FDA and international requirements
