Program Manager III, Software Development, User Experience Pixel

As a Program Manager, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects, working with stakeholders to manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate with cross-functional partners, particularly in the Pixel team focusing on mobile devices.

Responsibilities
Work with multiple teams on cross-functional initiatives. Interface with engineering managers and engineers across both hardware and software to estimate work efforts, define milestones, and manage resources. Track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks, and communicate status to upper management and project stakeholders
Remove obstacles to drive momentum and progress. Identify communication gaps, manage issue escalations, and provide support to teams balancing engaging priorities
Understand technical implementation at the architecture level and propose technical alternatives when necessary. Ask questions that clarify priorities, and develop domain and technical knowledge
Work with our leads and partners to ensure software and road map feature alignment for current and future programs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in program or project management
Experience working with mobile devices, hardware/software/embedded software or Android development
Experience in user engagement (e.g., beta programs etc.)
Preferred
5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
Experience shipping software for silicon and hardware
Excellent communication skills, taking concepts or information and presenting them to the executive level
