Responsibilities
Lead the design of a cloud data warehouse and data lakehouse architecture to ingest large-scale transactional and operational data
Define integration strategies
Develop a reference architecture leveraging Databricks Delta Lake
Implement semantic modeling to unify reporting across Tableau, Power BI, and SAP Analytics Cloud
Oversee ingestion pipelines
Optimize query performance
Qualification
Required
7+ years in data engineering building data warehouses and working with cloud data architecture (must have been involved in standing up data warehouses)
Experience blending data warehouses is required
Must have data warehouse migration and conversion experience
Strong experience in data modeling required
Strong SQL experience required
Preferred
SAP S/4 experience is highly preferred and will be one of the primary hiring considerations outside of the data architecture experience
SAP ECC will be considered as well as a secondary option
Azure experience is preferred but AWS or GCP experience will suffice
For someone with SAP, Databricks is preferred but similar tools experience is acceptable
