Sales Account Executive-CDMO Analytical Outsourcing

They are seeking a Senior Account Sales Executive to lead business development and revenue growth for their CDMO Analytical Outsourcing services, focusing on the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

Prospect and identify new business opportunities within the territory
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and on-site visits to promote services
Build a robust pipeline of qualified leads and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to close
Negotiate pricing and terms to secure new contracts
Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs
Position our CDMO analytical services as a value-added solution for drug development and outsourcing needs
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals and ensure timely delivery
Drive contract negotiations and close deals efficiently
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM
Report on sales performance metrics and forecast revenue

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field
3–5 years of proven success in sales or business development within the pharmaceutical/CDMO/CRO industry
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

Strong understanding of analytical services and drug development processes
