Outside Sales Account Manager - Mechanical Process Equipment
Carotek, a SunSource company, provides process equipment solutions for various markets, and they are seeking an Account Manager to grow sales in a defined territory. The role involves consultative selling of mechanical process equipment and building long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities
Grow sales within existing accounts and develop new customers
Call on engineers, technicians, operations leaders and decision-makers to deliver application-based solutions
Act as a trusted advisor and technical resource for process equipment
Review specifications and collaborate with Inside Sales to prepare quotations
Plan and execute daily sales calls and customer visits
Maintain CRM activity, forecasts, and territory plans
Build strong relationships with customers and manufacturer partners
Participate in ongoing product and manufacturer training
Qualification
Required
4+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in industrial or process equipment
Technical aptitude and ability to interpret specifications
Proven consultative selling and relationship-building skills
Associate degree in engineering, technical, or business field
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
Primarily local travel; occasional overnight travel
Preferred
Experience with pumps, filtration, steam, or similar mechanical products strongly preferred
Bachelor's preferred
