Senior Real Estate Investment Analyst - Retail
Westhive Capital is a private real estate investment firm focused on acquiring, repositioning, and operating retail shopping centers across the Western U.S. The Senior Real Estate Investment Analyst will lead financial modeling, investment analysis, and help manage active retail development deals, working closely with the CFO and acquisitions team.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain pro forma financial models (Excel and Argus)
Run return metrics including IRR, equity multiple, return on cost, sensitivity analysis
Review offering memorandums and summarize key deal points
Research comps (sales, lease, market) and assist with due diligence
Assist in creating investor decks and pitch materials
Support the tracking of ongoing development budgets
Coordinate between internal and external teams to ensure projections are upheld
Ensure development costs are aligned with underwriting and capital stack
Participate in regular project check-ins and lender/investor calls
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years of real estate experience (retail real estate preferred)
Deep understanding of real estate underwriting (retail experience a major plus)
Proficiency in Excel, Argus, and deal analytics
Ability to communicate clearly and present investment recommendations
Strong organizational and project tracking skills
Driven, curious and hungry to grow within a small, fast-paced shop
Preferred
Master's Degree in Real Estate Development (MRED), Finance, or related field preferred
