Responsibilities
Lead recruiting efforts and drive talent attraction for operations
Oversee new‑location onboarding and ensure smooth, compliant employee integration
Manage staffing agency partnerships to meet operational hiring needs
Build strong relationships with union business agents and support labor‑related matters
Process union dues and medical payments with accuracy
Conduct quarterly site visits to support local teams and ensure consistent HR practices
Maintain and update employee data within HRIS
Coordinate job fairs, background checks, and screenings
Serve as the first point of contact for HR, benefits, and wellness support sites
Coordinate Workers’ Compensation claims
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
6+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in logistics industry
5 years exp working with Unions, union dues and labor relations
Proficiency in HR software, CRM's, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred
HR certification is a plus ex: SHRM-CP, PHR
