Legal Assistant
LHH is a national, multi-practice legal organization recognized for its employee experience. The Legal Assistant role involves supporting a litigation team by managing attorney calendars, preparing legal documents, and providing administrative support in various litigation matters.
Responsibilities
Scheduling and managing attorney calendars
Proofreading, producing, and editing legal documents
Entering attorney time and reviewing billing records
Preparing files and materials for hearings
Filing pleadings and documents electronically with state and federal courts
Opening new matters and coordinating conflict checks
Maintaining case files and providing administrative support in construction, commercial, and business litigation matters
Qualification
Required
Minimum of five years of experience as a legal assistant within a law firm or corporate legal department
Experience in construction litigation, commercial litigation, or complex business litigation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work fully on-site during the first 90 days of training
