Technology Risk and Controls, Officer
State Street is one of the largest custodian banks and asset managers in the world, and they are seeking a Technology Risk and Controls Officer to enhance their Technology Risk Management Programs. The role involves evaluating and testing internal controls, supporting control initiatives, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive a culture of risk management and transparency.

Responsibilities
Evaluating and testing the design and effectiveness of internal controls
Completion of control assessment workpapers in compliance with corporate methodology
Support initiatives relative to controls identification, controls writing, optimization and assurance
Execute control testing, raising observations for formal management review
Assist senior staff in designated risk management and compliance projects
Provide transparency into work progress through regular status updates
Closely collaborate with risk and control stakeholders across Lines of Defense
Keep up to date on relevant policy, standards and regulatory requirements
Assist with driving a culture of risk and control management, transparency and accountability
Qualification
Required

Candidate is able to effectively balance multiple tasks

Aptitude for learning new and complex environments, processes, and technologies
Excellent written and spoken communication & collaboration skills
Self-learning and training to ensure skills and knowledge are in line with responsibilities
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, Risk Management or a related field, or equivalent experience
Candidate has a minimum of 3+ years of experience with IT risk, audit or technology operations
Preferred
Knowledge of IT frameworks such as NIST, ISO, COBIT, ITIL a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including data analytics in Excel and/or Access
Experience with IT GRC platforms (Archer)
Professional designation a plus (e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC)
