Responsibilities
Lead and complete the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Reconcile revenue and oversee financials across multiple affiliated entities
Prepare investor reporting, projections, and development budgets
Manage forecasts and annual budgets across the portfolio
Perform cash flow analysis and reporting
Oversee financial statements for all business activities
Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as needed
Manage, mentor, and support accounting staff
Partner with leadership on planning, strategy, and financial decision-making
Collaborate with external CPAs on tax estimates and annual filings
Assist with ad hoc projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial statements
Strong Excel proficiency required
Preferred
CPA or MBA preferred but not required
Prior management or team leadership experience preferred
Real estate or project-based accounting experience is a plus but not required
Understanding of project accounting and loans preferred
