Responsibilities

Analyze results and make recommendations for improvement based on results

Conduct regular surveillance of portfolio performance

Research industry trends to gain business intelligence in matters such as interest rates, regulatory changes

Utilize tools to extract data necessary to conduct portfolio analysis; tools used include Excel, Python, SQL Server Management Studio, Intex, and CAS

Conduct oversight of the data provided by our trade partners and make sure the correct and up to date information is loaded in our databases

Prepare and maintain monthly portfolio and performance reports (e.g., positions, P&L projections) for internal stakeholders by prescribed deadlines

Prioritize and manage multiple assignments to deliver accurate, high-quality work on time

Capable of working effectively, independently, and seamlessly across both technical and business sectors

Exhibit organization, efficiency, accuracy, and creativity in all work-related tasks

Quickly detect, monitor, document, and resolve challenges

Effectively convey information to audiences, regardless of their technical expertise

Collaborate effectively and professionally with technical and business teams across departments (IT, Accounting, Finance, Capital Markets, Deal Operations, etc.) to resolve portfolio management issues

Exercise exemplary corporate citizenship including strict adherence to compliance requirements and Bayview’s tenets

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, science, technology, engineering or math field

Finance, business, or data management experience

Hands-on programming experience in scripting (e.g. Python)
