The Residential Life Activities Coordinator plays a vital role in planning and implementing residential life activities and events, ensuring students are engaged and supported throughout the school year.
Education
Responsibilities
Collaborate on the design and planning of the weekend activities program in collaboration with the ResLife staff
Lead weekend duty team communications to assign weekend duties and prepare weekend itinerary
Assist in the planning and implementation of special community wide events
Assist in the organization, planning, and execution of the Dorm Olympics
Assist in preseason program
Assist in the planning of monthly events/activities during night and weekend hours for resident students
Actively promote weekend activities and special events in dorms, at meals, and through signage and communications
Coordinate and supervise departures of after school trips
Assist with afternoon supervision in the dormitories
Assist with the various needs of students
Other duties as assigned
Maintain student activity database and track student participation in weekend activities
Coordinate communications to resident students regarding meetings, special events, and activities
Assist in ordering supplies/equipment for activities etc
Assist in the organization of ResLife activity supplies
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
A strong belief in independent education, and particularly the mission of Fryeburg Academy
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Proficiency in Excel and Google Docs; experience with Blackbaud a plus
Excellent organizational skills; ability to balance office duties and timelines
Commitment to office team processes

Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience working with youth in a residential school setting or youth development program
