Responsibilities
Sets up and maintains software test lab including PCs, radios, service monitors, and other related equipment
Executes manual test plans, records and reports results
Sets up and executes automated test plans specified by engineering for the testing of software functions
Programs, tests, aligns, and repairs engineering prototypes
Provides technical support to engineers and field service
Communicates suggestions for improvements of products/processes that would enhance the effectiveness/performance of our products
Communicate with customers to collect field data and resolve issues
Maintain infrastructure equipment required for subscriber testing
Document findings, record test results and create reports
Exhibits dependability and comply with attendance requirements
Acts as a liaison between company and customer for any issues or concerns with the product that may arise as part of testing activities
Exhibits desirable and appropriate professional behavior including leadership, sense of urgency, independent judgment, teamwork, ability to get along with others, creative thinking and personal integrity to provide for a cohesive, productive unit dedicated to the achievement of corporate goals
Qualification
Required
Graduate of a two-year technical college in electronics, military communications schooling or equivalent
Knowledge of land mobile radio system configurations required for senior positions
Ability to read and interpret electronic circuit diagrams, flow charts, and schematics
Ability to work with common personal computer applications
Ability to lift 40-70 pounds of equipment
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with company personnel
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
Must be a self-starter and require minimal supervision
