They are seeking a Senior Test Engineer to develop test plans, design test fixtures, and create automated test software while ensuring effective communication with customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

Develop test plans and requirements matrix

Designing test fixtures and equipment, and defining specifications and procedures for testing new products

Developing automated test software using NI LabVIEW/TestStand

Assemble, bring-up, and debug new electronic designs for test equipment

Documenting Test Procedures

Perform Verification and Validation activities, to include Gage R&R reports

Transition test solutions from a development to a sustaining production environment

Technically communicate well with internal and external customers and vendors

Required

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Computer Science

Minimum 5 years of functional test software development experience is required

Familiar with standard electronic test and measurement equipment

Proficient with test software development using National Instruments LabVIEW/TestStand

Extensive knowledge of NI LabVIEW/TestStand is a must

Must be highly motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn new technologies

Strong problem-solving skills, good communication skills, and ability to work in a team

Comfortable with at-a-desk design, hands-on laboratory work, and interfacing with manufacturing

Ability to demonstrate relationship building skills and be comfortable interacting with technical professionals

Effective, concise and clear communication to management on status of projects

Collaborating in a team environment to develop new test solutions

You will be expected to support a product's electrical test design activity from requirements definition through development, implementation and validation

You will be expected to perform assigned duties with minimal supervision
