ACORE Events & Marketing Intern 2026

American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) is seeking a passionate, energetic, and talented Events and Marketing intern to join their team. The intern will support efforts around web development, event promotion, social media management, and content creation to help accelerate the transition to a clean energy economy.

Renewables & Environment

Responsibilities

Draft, edit and/or proofread a wide variety of written content (e.g., social media posts, newsletters, marketing emails, reports)
Assist with drafting and scheduling content for ACORE’s social media platforms including Twitter, BlueSky, LinkedIn
Support event promotion strategies for signature conferences and other key ACORE events
Analyze membership and event marketing metrics and create reports
Design, refresh, and edit digital graphics, signage, and presentations
Perform other administrative tasks and miscellaneous duties as assigned

Required

Strong interpersonal skills and experience working as part of a team
Experience working in a professional environment
Self-motivated and dependable
Solid writing skills, including familiarity with Associated Press style
Ability to work independently, multitask, and take ownership over projects and assignments
Familiarity with social media channels
Visual/graphic communications experience required
Experience with Canva and MS Office suite required

Preferred

Interest or background in clean energy trends, clean energy policy, project finance, or advocacy
Digital portfolio or examples of graphic design work
