They are looking to add depth to their accounting department by hiring a Revenue Accountant who is detail-oriented and enjoys day-to-day accounting work.

Responsibilities
Book journal entries in OGSys
Prepare account reconciliations
Prepare bank reconciliations
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Record production payments
Deposit royalty checks
Assist in reviewing property tax statements
Assist in financial reporting to investors
Qualification
Required
Understanding of oil and gas accounting
Experience with OGSys, WolfePak, or similar O&G software
Accounting degree or relevant work experience
Detail oriented
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel (PowerBI is a big plus)
Preferred
Currently an accountant in the oil and gas industry
Lives in the Shreveport-Bossier City area of Louisiana or is interested in relocating to the Shreveport-Bossier City area
Inexperienced candidates that have an accounting background (from other industries or education)
