FEV North America Inc. is seeking a Designer for its Engine Design team in Auburn Hills. The Designer will coordinate and execute design tasks associated with research and development projects in the engine design group.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and execute design tasks associated with research and development projects in the engine design group
Work on engine powertrain subsystems and components to develop solutions for current and future challenges

Qualification

SolidWorks CAD Design3D modelingEngine powertrain mechanicsInternal combustion engine designFocus on qualityModelingDrafting practicesGD&T applicationBachelors in engineeringCommunication skills

Required

SolidWorks CAD Design proficiency, (Creo, NX and Catia helpful)
1 to 5 years of experience in internal combustion engine design and development of engines and or transmissions
Strong 3D modeling skills
Strong knowledge of engine powertrain mechanics
Good communication skills
Demonstrated focus on quality and timeliness
US citizenship or Green Card required

Preferred

Experience in engine subsystem and component functions, features
Knowledge of modeling and drafting practices and of GD&T application (ASME Y14.5)
Bachelors in engineering
