ASST IN RESEARCH (TEMP)
The University of Michigan is seeking a Research Assistant to support the administration and management of a research program at the School of Social Work and Michigan Medicine. The role involves overseeing study participant compliance, coordinating blood sample collections, and managing a clinical research database.

Responsibilities
Oversee study participant compliance with study protocol, including data collection and management using Air Table (Excel) and REDCap
Coordinate the scheduling of mobile phlebotomy tracking and appointments for blood sample collection
Gift card incentive processing using UM HSIP system
Prepare blood kits for packaging and shipping using UPS Campus Ship services
Communicate with participating cancer centers and community stakeholder groups
Support staff in creation and monitoring of a clinical research database
General administrative tasks, including invoice reconciliations and payments to vendors and consultants, correspondence with site personnel, notetaking at meetings
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree
Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel, Google sheets, REDCap, Qualtrics)
Professional interpersonal communication and skills
Exceptional organizational skills and flexibility to work on multiple simultaneous tasks/projects
Familiarity with statistical data entry and data management
Astute attention to detail
Meet timely deadlines and be willing to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred
Familiarity and experience working with online survey platforms, REDCap preferred
