Head of Growth
Sagetap is redefining how technology leaders discover and adopt software. They are seeking a Head of Growth to build and lead the strategy for turning interest into activation and long-term product usage, collaborating across Marketing, Product, and Data.
Responsibilities
Own growth strategy across acquisition, activation, engagement, and expansion
Lead growth across content, community, partnerships, events, performance marketing, and lifecycle
Ensure growth efforts drive meaningful activation and sustained product usage, not vanity metrics
Partner closely with Marketing to align demand generation with downstream engagement
Shape the user journey from first touch through onboarding and long-term engagement
Build lifecycle programs that improve time-to-value and ongoing usage
Identify and address drop-off points across the funnel
Own the growth experimentation roadmap across channels and lifecycle
Define clear hypotheses, success metrics, and learning goals
Track and report on activation, engagement, and retention outcomes
Translate insights into clear recommendations for leadership
Collaborate with Product on onboarding, activation, and UX improvements
Use data to inform prioritization and iteration where product changes impact growth
Operate as a hands-on leader who can execute and scale
Build and develop a small, high-impact growth team over time
Align and influence cross-functional partners without slowing velocity
Qualification
Required
Proven ownership of activation, onboarding, and product usage growth
Experience designing activation flows, experiments, and habit-building mechanics
Deep comfort partnering directly with Product and Engineering teams
Hands-on experience with lifecycle, activation, and growth marketing
Ability to connect the acquisition strategy to product adoption and retention
Experience collaborating with content, brand, and performance teams
Experience building growth systems in early-stage or scaling startups
Comfortable operating in ambiguity with limited resources
Track record of learning quickly, iterating fast, and driving meaningful impact
Experience engaging and activating senior enterprise technology leaders (e.g., CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, Heads of Engineering, Security, AI, or Infrastructure)
Strong understanding of how enterprise software buyers discover, evaluate, and adopt new tools
Ability to design growth strategies that resonate with highly busy, high-stakes decision-makers, where generic or consumer-style growth tactics may not apply
