Responsibilities
Providing comprehensive financial analysis, reporting, and presentation support that enables leadership operational teams to make informed business decisions
Developing accurate and timely financial reports, preparing clear and engaging presentations, and delivering actionable insights that highlight key trends, risks, and opportunities
Supporting Medicare SCOE by ensuring transparency and timely delivery of financial reporting while providing financial insights that guide strategic decision-making and operational excellence
Serving as the primary liaison between finance, SCOE operations, and other internal and external teams
Addressing all inquiries related to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring clear communication and effective resolution of issues
Serving as the process owner, ensuring contracts are in compliance with budgetary constraints
Regularly reviewing and optimizing contract processes to facilitate timely approvals and minimize delays
Reviewing the month-end close process by collaborating closely with Cost Center Managers; this entails reviewing AP expenses, accrual bookings and variance commentary
Developing, preparing, and distributing detailed monthly and quarterly financial reports that analyze month-end variances
Summarizing actual spend, headcount, T&E, and B&E, identifying root causes of variances, highlighting trends and anomalies and presenting actionable insights to stakeholders
Engaging with various internal teams members to ensure all cost centers quarterly and annual forecasts are adequately funded in accordance with rate/volume and strategic changes
Providing oversight of existing financial models and dashboards; working to continuously underwrite the quality of that reporting and its sources of data
Proactively implementing new and or enhancing current expense business models to help guide future decisions
Collaborating with internal stakeholders in the development and assessment of cost and benefit projections
Providing detailed research and analytical support to validate the accuracy and reasonableness of assumptions
Qualification
Required
10 years of experience in Accounting & Finance
8 years of experience managing large budgets +$250M
8 years of experience supporting senior level leadership
8 years of experience performing data analytics
8 years of experience reporting financial results to internal stakeholders (budget vs actual variances)
Bachelor Degree Required
