Director of Business Development
EVONA is a rapidly growing aerospace and defence solutions provider known for cutting-edge technology in secure communications and orbital systems. They are seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead defence and government business development initiatives across Latin America, focusing on building relationships and defining commercial strategies.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end business development efforts across the Americas defence and government sectors
Develop regional go-to-market and capture strategies — from early engagement through contract execution
Build high-level relationships with ministries, defence agencies, research institutions, and industry partners
Align internal commercial, engineering, and operations teams around client objectives and long-term market opportunities
Represent the company in key defence, aerospace, and technology forums globally
Qualification
Required
Proven success driving business growth in defence, aerospace, or government programs (preferably involving satellite or space-based systems)
Experience working across Latin American markets, with strong intercultural and political awareness
Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills; comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across public and private sectors
Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset and the ability to execute with precision
Fluent in English

Spanish or Portuguese strongly preferred
