Business Development Manager

ASSA ABLOY Group is a global leader in access solutions, and they are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive business in the new construction segments of Single Family across the US. The role involves managing relationships with builders and coordinating with internal teams to grow market share for Pfister faucets.

Responsibilities

Implements a business plan to strategically grow territory and maintain business while improving profitability (Single Family)
Develops and maintains influential relationships with key decision makers of new construction locally and regionally
Works with plumber Territory Managers to convert opportunities. NAM is considered the expert and go to person regarding all SF activity
Coordinates, tracks, and organizes all data pertaining to current builders under contract
Develops and maintains builder database
Works with National Account Managers to develop vertical Territory Managers and agency reps
Works with Marketing and training to develop sales support and training needs specific to the builder sales process
Leadership role in Multi-Market and Local builder shows

Required

Bachelor's degree in business or related field required or 5 years of equivalent work experience
5 years prior work experience as National Account Manager, account management, Marketing management or proven sales
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities
Ability to strategically develop plans and processes
Demonstrated sales and negotiation Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Power BI
Self-Motivated with strong work ethic
Problem Solver
Excellent Strategic Presentation and Networking Skills (both in person and virtually)
Travel required for meetings, training seminars, trade shows and end user presentations. 30% Travel Required

Management Experience in Multi-Level Organization
