Help Desk Support Specialist
Matlen Silver is seeking a Level 1 Help Desk Support Specialist to provide hands-on support for local computer and networking issues. The role involves managing ticket queues, assisting with O365-related questions, and supporting infrastructure-related projects in a large enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
Basic help desk support (ticket queue, walk-up requests — not a sit-in-chair role)
Local computer and networking support
O365-related questions and troubleshooting
Assisting with inventory management, restocking, and equipment tracking
Physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs and unloading equipment (e.g., monitors) from the docking bay and transporting them to various floors (up to 15)
Supporting various infrastructure-related projects as needed
Qualification
Required
1 to 2 years of relevant and recent experience
Experience using ticketing systems and writing technical support reports and documentation
Broad knowledge and proficiency with popular operating systems, Azure, O365 and Active Directory
Knowledge of application software, desktop and laptop computers, printers
