Responsibilities
Manage and administer advanced endpoint security tools including Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), Host Based Security System (HBSS), and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
Configure, deploy, and fine-tune security modules such as endpoint protection, host-based firewall, and data loss prevention (DLP) to optimize threat defense
Analyze vulnerability scan results from ACAS and other sources, prioritize risks, and collaborate with system administrators on timely remediation to maintain system integrity
Ensure ongoing compliance with DISA STIGs, organizational IT security policies, NIST standards, and DoD regulations
Automate administrative tasks, data collection, and configurations using PowerShell scripting to improve efficiency
Collect, analyze, and visualize security data from ACAS, ePO, Elastic, and related systems to support informed reporting and decision-making
Develop, implement, and monitor IT security policies, standards, and procedures to protect organizational assets
Partner with end users and departments to assess security needs and implement appropriate controls across the enterprise
Qualification
Required
Active Secret clearance (required – no exceptions)
IAT Level II certification (one of the following: Security+ CE, CySA+, CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP)
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, endpoint security, or a related field
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
Strong knowledge of NIST Special Publication 800-37 (RMF), Army Regulations (ARs), and associated pamphlets
Practical experience with automated security tools including ACAS, CIS Benchmarks, SCAP, and STIG implementation
Proven expertise in cybersecurity, Assessment & Authorization (A&A), and RMF documentation development/support
Proficiency in PowerShell for automation and scripting
Excellent analytical skills with experience in vulnerability assessment, risk prioritization, and compliance reporting
