Responsibilities
Serve as a finance partner for the SP product and engineering leaders on strategic initiatives, leading planning, business modeling, and financial analysis
Design and develop performance metrics, institute reporting mechanisms, and implement processes to drive insights related to business performance for stakeholders
Facilitate financial and operational metrics review meetings with product and finance leaders and work with business to drive effective execution; Develop financial models for new business initiatives, experimentation, and special projects
Collaborate with business intelligence engineers and data engineers to continually improve and enhance existing reporting and mechanisms, proactively identify performance issues and deep dive to investigate and uncover insights
A day in the life of a Sr. Financial Analyst can include - leading a WBR to drive discussions with product teams on business performance, partner with product to investigate KPI trends and prepare a document to be reviewed with senior product leaders, collaborate with BIE and Data Engineering teams to design and implement a new set of metrics in multiple formats (WBR/MBR slides, dashboards) for business stakeholders
Qualification
Required
3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
Preferred
4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
MBA, or CPA
Knowledge of Tableau
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
