Cost Center / Purchase Order Controller

Responsibilities
Manage the site's operating budget; monitor actual spend vs. budget, identify variances, and implement cost-saving initiatives. Review and approve expenses to ensure alignment with Satair financial policies
Oversee the end-to-end purchasing process for the warehouse. Ensure accurate and timely placement of Purchase Orders (POs) for packaging, consumables, facility services, and equipment
Monitor vendor performance regarding delivery timeliness and quality. Resolve discrepancies between Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts, and Invoices (GR/IR issues) to facilitate timely payment
Implement controls for non-stock inventory (packing materials, safety supplies) to prevent stock-outs that could halt warehouse production
Maintain accurate master data in the ERP system (SAP) regarding vendors, pricing, and cost centers
Generate weekly and monthly financial reports for the Head of Logistics detailing spend velocity, open commitments, and forecasted costs for the year
Support the project management teams in executing POs for CAPEX and OPEX spends
Establish and actively engage in cross-regional collaboration and define (reporting) standards
Qualification
Required
A high school diploma or equivalent
3-5 years of experience in a warehouse environment with additional responsibilities of inventory, cost, or PO management
Understanding of General Ledger (GL) accounts, Cost Centers, and Capex vs. Opex
Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and identify cost-saving opportunities
Authorized to Work in the U.S. without current or future need for visa sponsorship
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field is highly desirable
