Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market outreach
Manage the sales process from initial contact through proposal development, pricing coordination, and contract execution
Conduct site evaluations in collaboration with operations to develop customized maintenance and enhancement programs
Develop long-term service strategies, including multi-year maintenance agreements and seasonal improvement plans
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, providing accurate activity tracking and revenue forecasts
Serve as the primary point of contact during the pre-sale and transition phases to ensure alignment between clients and operations
Establish and maintain relationships with property managers, HOAs, commercial real estate professionals, and local business organizations
Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and community meetings to increase brand visibility

Required

Proven success in B2B business development or commercial sales, preferably within landscape, facilities, or related service industries
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and bid deadlines simultaneously
Solid analytical skills for pricing strategies, cost evaluation, and margin awareness
Effective presentation and proposal development skills with a client-focused approach
Self-motivated, results-driven mindset with strong relationship-building abilities
3–7 years of experience in business development or commercial sales
Valid driver's license required

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered
Background in commercial landscape services, facilities management, or construction-related industries is a plus
