Responsibilities
Review work provided by Client and assess requirements of scopes
Provide engineering support during construction, including post-construction reviews to ensure all applicable engineering and construction standards have been met
Conduct root cause analysis of outages and mitigation using engineering principles and design
Travel to sites as needed, perform inspections and return to the office to perform engineering design work; about 80% of your time will be spent traveling locally and regionally, collecting field data that will assist in the development of electrical design work packages
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent is required
1+ years of related experience
Willingness to perform both field work (in outdoor environments) and office work
Experience with staking (surveying and marking the precise locations of new utility lines, poles, and other infrastructure on a site before construction begins)
Written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
This role requires a valid US driver's license as local and regional travel is required
Preferred
Associates Degree or higher in engineering technology or related
Power/Utilities experience
Previous experience with field data collection
