Technical Project Specialist III
The University of Kentucky is seeking a Technical Project Specialist III for grant-funded projects within the College of Public Health. This role involves managing multiple projects to meet contract requirements and coordinating technical activities to enhance public health research and information systems.

Responsibilities
Works across multiple projects to ensure contract requirements are met and ensures the coordination and management of technical activities to implement or enhance research and information systems for Public Health stakeholders
Works with stakeholders and researchers to define the creation of a project scope of work, then works with the technical research team to define project requirements and create project goals and timeline
Responsible for progress reports and other deliverables
Monitoring budgets and managing costs associated with assigned projects
Provides updates to the Principal Investigator and team leads on assigned projects/initiatives and escalates issues when necessary
Qualification
Required
BS
5 yrs
Preferred
Experience with public health research, public health surveillance, or public health informatics is preferred
Project Management Certification preferred, Microsoft Project, clarity, or other PM tool experience
At least 5 years of project mgt experience is preferred; 5+ years experience leading a team
