Drop Count Associate

The role involves accurately collecting, counting, and verifying gaming revenue from electronic machines and other devices, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Collect full money boxes from gaming machines
Replace full boxes with empty boxes on gaming machines
Transport full boxes to a secure location
Ensure all machine doors and cart doors are properly secured
Accurately sort, count, and verify cash, coins, and other gaming assets
Prepare funds for transfer
Balance bank accounts and reconcile counts with Cage operations
Input data into the computer system
Maintain accurate records of all transactions
Perform basic equipment maintenance as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Protect casino assets by adhering to strict security protocols
Report any suspicious activity to supervisors or security personnel
Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Qualification

Required

High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of experience in a cash-handling role, preferably in a casino environment
Ability to handle large amounts of money accurately and efficiently
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced and often demanding environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to obtain a Cherokee Nation Gaming License and/or Oklahoma Horse Racing License
Must have a valid driver's license
Ability to work in a casino environment, which may include exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise
