Brewery Running Series is a vibrant organization that combines running, craft beer, and community events. They are seeking a Director of Events to plan and execute fun run events across Maine, partnering with local breweries and managing event logistics to create memorable experiences for participants.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute 6–20 fun run (5K) events per year

Partner with local breweries to host events and coordinate logistics

Design 5K courses and manage event permits, supplies, and setup

Hire, train, and lead a team of support staff, brand ambassadors, and volunteers

Build partnerships and sponsorships with local and national businesses

Work closely with local nonprofits to raise awareness and donations at each event

Oversee event setup, registration, and volunteer coordination

Serve as event emcee and main point of contact for breweries, sponsors, and participants

Ensure smooth execution of every event — from start to finish line (and beer line!)

Manage and grow social media presence (Instagram, Facebook)

Design and send newsletters via Mailchimp

Promote events through grassroots outreach, posters, and digital ads

Write and distribute press releases for each season

Manage accounting and budgets for your event series

Attend national team meetings and contribute to overall brand growth strategy

Work with other series directors and HQ to ensure event consistency
