Responsibilities

Continue to drive a safety culture that minimizes injuries and encourages reporting

Collaborate with the quality team to drive First-Pass-Yield and minimize defects

Manage and oversee the daily activities of the operations team, to include production, equipment and tooling, ensuring all processes are followed and objectives are met in a safe way

Collaborate with the planning organization to determine the capacity of the machines that drive efficient operations and maximize output. Ensure work orders are created and completed compliantly

Identify engineering and automation opportunities for improvement and cost reductions in operational processes and lead initiatives to implement them

Track KPIs, monitor team performance, and ensure goals are met or exceeded

Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless flow of operations

Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies

Assist in budgeting and forecasting for operational activities

Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions

Provide regular reports on team activities, successes, and challenges to senior management

Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure efficient operations

Required

BS degree in engineering or related field required

5+ years in manufacturing or engineering leadership position is required

Strong cross functional collaboration skills, and the ability to develop strong relationships within the organization to gain support and achieve results

Comfortable in a fast-paced company environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload and achieve deadlines based upon changing priorities

Demonstrated ability to quickly analyze, synthesize, and report on large volumes of information

Proven experience to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations of limited standardization

Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and NetSuite or Oracle-based ERP

Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
