Business Development Assistant

Precision Concrete Cutting (PCC) is dedicated to providing top-notch trip hazard removal services and walkway surveys. The Business Development Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team by ensuring effective communication with customers, managing sales processes, and assisting with administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Facilitate the PCC project lifecycle through ongoing training, development, and updates to resources/documentation
Adhere to current PCC policies, procedures, programs, products, and services
Maintain relationships with existing customers, the PCC Sales Team(s), and PCC Delivery Team(s)
Maintain and publish weekly sales call schedules for the sales team
Plan and occasionally conduct trade shows with the sales team
Collaborate daily with our Delivery Managers, Sales Managers, and Coordinators to assure effective information transfers (Surveys), downloads (•BidBoss• Surveys/Production), and quality service delivery
Support the Sales team in producing timely and accurate proposals based on customer site survey(s)
Manage the sales database including assigning and tracking new leads to sales managers (•PipeDrive• app)
Use proven techniques to qualify leads for field sales managers to follow up on
Work with qualified leads providing information for fulfillment and follow-up
Introduce Precision Concrete Cutting to customers through proven phone & email efforts
Research and data mine potential customers for PCC
Work closely with the Sales Manager to reach potential customers and hit goals
Assist with administrative tasks and records management
Maintain the Corporate Credit Card expense tracking via transaction and expense report matching

Required

High School diploma required
2+ years of proven internal sales or business development experience
Deploy sales techniques to qualify leads for outside sales managers
Research and data mine potential customers
Cold calling target accounts to set appointments and introduce PCC
Work closely with sales manager to reach potential customers and hit goals
Written communication skills and ability to prepare and review proposals, contracts, and submit bids
Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of energy to drive business activity
Effective time management and multitasking skills
Strong use of verbal communication in person and over the phone
Business savvy
Strong computer skills
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Proficient in Sales Management Applications (PipeDrive and/or SalesForce)
Smoke free (including e-cigarettes/vaping) and able to pass drug tests (pre-employment and random)

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience writing contracts or proposals preferred
