Responsibilities
Serve as our client’s primary project management lead for the CPQ implementation initiative
Collaborate with the client’s CIO, internal teams, and the vendor’s project manager to ensure alignment on deliverables, scope, and timelines
Develop, manage, and monitor project plans, schedules, and milestones to ensure timely delivery
Coordinate internal stakeholder communications and facilitate project meetings
Monitor risks and issues, escalate concerns, and drive resolution
Track progress against deliverables and prepare project status updates for leadership
Ensure that deliverables from vendor and internal resources meet contractual and quality expectations
Participate in initial and final onsite sessions as required (potentially a few days at project kickoff and closure)
Qualification
Required
4–7 years of professional project management experience
Proven experience leading technology-related projects, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments
Hands-on experience working within Agile methodologies
Experience with typical project management tools such as: Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Smartsheet type products
Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
Excellent organizational and planning capabilities with attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Preferred
Previous experience managing CPQ (Configure/Price/Quote) system implementations or similar enterprise business system projects (CRM, ERP, PLM, etc.)
Familiarity with Palantir or other comparable data analytics platforms
PMP or Agile certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent)
Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams
