Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routing, switching, and SD-WAN solutions
Configure and manage dynamic routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF for optimal network performance
Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues to ensure high availability and reliability
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to support network-related projects and initiatives
Implement network security guidelines, including compliance with organizational standards and policies
Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures
Participate in automation and process improvement initiatives to optimize network operations
Provide technical expertise and guidance for network-related incidents and problem resolution
Assist in lifecycle management of network hardware and software, including upgrades and patching
Support telemetry and analytics solutions for proactive monitoring and capacity planning
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of related experience
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in network engineering or administration
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP)
Hands-on experience with Cisco or similar enterprise networking equipment
Familiarity with SD-WAN solutions
Understanding of network security principles and procedures
Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues in a large-scale environment
Cisco Certification (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent)
Experience with network automation tools (Python, Ansible, Itential, etc.)
Knowledge of telemetry and network analytics platforms (Solarwinds, NetBrain, NetScout, etc.)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
