Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain a scalable and resilient backend architecture using Node.js and TypeScript
Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using SST (Serverless Stack) for Infrastructure as Code
Design, implement, and optimize Postgres database including schema design, query optimization, and data security
Integrate and deploy cutting-edge AI models with a focus on image recognition
Build and maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipeline using vector databases, embedding models, and LLMs
Develop and manage agentic APIs that enable autonomous, intelligent workflows
Establish coding standards, review processes, and a culture of engineering excellence as a founding engineer
Qualification
Required
7+ years of professional experience in backend software development (ideally)
Demonstrated expertise in Node.js and TypeScript for production-grade applications
Extensive hands-on experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, RDS, etc.)
Proven experience using SST (Serverless Stack) for serverless application deployment
Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL including advanced queries, performance tuning, and administration
Practical experience implementing RAG systems with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector)
Experience designing and building APIs for agentic systems and AI-driven automation
Strong background in image recognition technologies and cutting-edge AI models (GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, Stable Diffusion, etc.)
