Responsibilities

Patch Deployment & Management: Assess, schedule, test, and deploy OS and application patches across servers, endpoints, and networks

Vulnerability & Risk Management: Monitor for vulnerabilities, conduct risk assessments, and remediate security gaps to protect against cyber threats

Automation & Scripting: Develop scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to automate patching processes, improve efficiency, and optimize system performance

Policy & Compliance: Enforce patching policies, maintain compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO), and ensure adherence to internal directives

Monitoring & Reporting: Track patch compliance, generate reports for management, and analyze system health

Collaboration: Work closely with security, infrastructure, and application teams to coordinate deployments and minimize disruption

Troubleshooting: Resolve patch deployment failures and system incidents, performing root cause analysis

Required

Proficiency with patching tools (like ManageEngine Endpoint Central, ManageEngine Patch Manager, Intune, etc.)

Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to analyze complex technical data

Ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences

5+ year of IT related experience with at least 2 years of leading patch management activities

Associate's degree or current enrollment in a Bachelor's program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field
