Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and application of ultrafast THz-pump and optical-probe techniques to detect narrow-band THz radiation and explore mode-selective dynamics in quantum and molecular systems

Required

Ph.D. (completed or soon to be completed prior to the start of the appointment) in Physics, Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field
Hands-on experience with free-space optical alignment, THz beam delivery, electro-optic sampling, polarization optics and imaging, or time-resolved pump-probe experiments
Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar programming environments for instrument control and data analysis
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment
