Sales Manager Distributed Antenna Systems
PBE Axell is a global manufacturer and systems integrator of electronic safety products, data and communication infrastructure, and electrical power systems. As a Sales Manager, you will drive revenue growth by promoting Distributed Antenna Systems solutions across North America, managing the entire sales cycle and collaborating with various teams to exceed sales targets.
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver compelling proposals, system designs, and quotations tailored to customer requirements, with a focus on DAS solutions for Public Safety, Cellular, Rail/Tunnelling, and related markets
Identify, develop and pursue sales opportunities with mobile network operators (MNOs), neutral host providers, system integrators, and government entities
Assess market potential and evaluate product application fit, aligning solutions with customer needs and regulatory standards
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across mobile network operations and neutral host ecosystems
Stay up to date on regional and national regulatory requirements and ensure solution compliance, including specifications for public safety coverage and in-building cellular enhancement
Maintain in depth knowledge of the competitive landscape and market trends including current and upcoming infrastructure projects relevant to the DAS marketspace
Maintain a comprehensive competitor intelligence file, including product specs, pricing, and positioning - updated at least bi-annually
Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and customer events to promote DAS offerings and identify new business opportunities
Provide high-level technical support during Pre-Sales engagements
Act as the key liaison between customers and internal teams (engineering, operations, support) to ensure seamless solution delivery and issue resolution
Proactively address client concerns, offering timely and resourceful solutions that build long-term customer trust and satisfaction
Qualification
Required
Degree in Business Administration, RF, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Equivalent work experience in Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), TETRA, LTE, and 5G communication systems will also be considered
At least 5 years of proven experience in sales or business development within the North American market
Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets
Strong business development and commercial experience with the ability to understand and communicate technical solutions to a variety of stakeholders
Proven experience in sales or business development with system integrators, EPCs, mobile network operators, or neutral host providers
Solid understanding of wireless communication markets, especially DAS, TETRA, LTE, and 5G, with a focus on customer needs and solution selling
Established network of potential partners and industry contacts in the DAS integrator/ distribution space and construction industry
Confident presenter with the ability to deliver engaging presentations in both client-facing and internal settings
Strong communication and relationship building skills at senior level ensuring customer base growth and retention
Willingness to travel extensively throughout the region
