Responsibilities
Assist with designing, implementing, maintaining, and scaling Audax’s AI ecosystem
Coordinate with internal IT professionals to scale AI infrastructure within the company’s cloud enterprise
Play an integral role in proof-of-concept development for different function area use cases within the firm
Assist with implementation of AI governance policies; this includes security, documentation, and privacy
Provide data validation and data quality assessments through coordination with the firm’s internal data engineers
Code within an IDE environment (VS Code) with Python, SQL, and Git
Utilize cloud environment services to assist with AI application development and deployment
Understanding and experimenting with modern AI architectures for experimentation and use case development
Support coordination across different firm function areas for information gathering, updates, and user testing
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Computational Engineering, Computer Science or another related field
Experience with at least two of the following required: traditional machine learning, natural language processing, transfer learning/fine-tuning, predictive analytics, agentic frameworks, AI output evaluation, and data engineering
Experience with Python, SQL, and Git
Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environment including GitHub and with Microsoft Office suite
Experience with OpenAI (SDKs, tools, CustomGPTs)
Strong written and oral communication skills as well as critical thinking skills required to operate in an efficient and meaningful way with all levels of the organization
Preferred
Experience with Snowflake is a plus
Previous Co-Op or full-time experience in related field is a plus
