Responsibilities
Provide on-site resident controls support for turbine and compressor controls systems
Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize GE Mark VIe / Mark VI / Mark V control systems
Support gas turbines, compressors, and auxiliary systems
Perform logic modifications, tuning, loop checks, and functional testing
Respond to operational issues, alarms, trips, and forced outages
Support planned outages, startups, and restarts
Work closely with plant operations, maintenance and engineering teams
Maintain accurate service documentation and daily activity reports
Ensure strict compliance with HSE and site safety requirements
Act as the primary controls technical authority on site
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Controls, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
TWIC Card (Mandatory)
15+ years of experience as a Controls FSE or Controls Engineer in the oil & gas or power industry
Demonstrated experience with: Baker Hughes Nuovo Pignone control systems
GE Mark VIe / Mark VI / Mark V
Strong understanding of: Turbine and compressor control philosophy
PLCs, HMIs, and industrial communication networks
Electrical drawings, control logic, and P&IDs
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities
Ability to work full-time on site in New Orleans
Legal authorization to work in the U.S
Preferred
Prior resident or long-term site assignment experience
LNG or pipeline facility experience
Experience with CCC, Woodward, or other auxiliary control systems
Familiarity with Baker Hughes maintenance and operational standards
Commissioning, startup, or outage support experience
